Who we are
Anonymizer is made by NODESHIFT LIMITED, a private company limited by shares registered with the ADGM Registration Authority under number 25715, at DD-15-123, Level 15, Al Khatem Tower, WeWork Hub71, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal information for Anonymizer. It includes the notice required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA.
For privacy questions or requests, use our contact page and choose “Security and CCPA”, or email [TO CONFIRM: email address for privacy requests].
Your prompts and files
Anonymizer anonymizes sensitive data on your computer before anything is sent to the AI app you use. The AI provider only receives placeholders, and handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
NodeShift doesn’t store your prompts, files or answers. Big batches of files run in the US cloud you choose, and you decide where the key that puts the real data back is kept. For Corporate customers, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) covers this processing.
What we collect and why
- Account and subscription. Identifiers and commercial information: your name, email, company, plan and billing history, so we can run your trial and subscription. Kept while your account is open; invoices for as long as tax law requires.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- Contact form. Your name, email, company, topic and message, so we can answer you. Kept for as long as we need to deal with your request.
- Newsletter. Your email address, to send product news through beehiiv, only if you sign up. Kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email.
- Website analytics. Internet activity, such as pages visited and device type, measured with PostHog, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Security logs. Our hosting providers keep standard request logs, such as IP address and time, to keep the site secure. Kept for a short period.
We collect this information from you, from your browser and from Stripe. We only use sensitive personal information, like your account login, to give you access to Anonymizer.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process data for us under contract: Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), beehiiv (newsletter) and the providers that host our website and email. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
Where your data is processed
We’re based in the United Arab Emirates. Big batches of files run in the US cloud you choose. Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries, under contract with us.
