About these terms
These terms apply when you start a trial, buy a plan or use Anonymizer. Anonymizer is provided by NODESHIFT LIMITED, registered with the ADGM Registration Authority under number 25715, at DD-15-123, Level 15, Al Khatem Tower, WeWork Hub71, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“NodeShift”, “we”).
The service
Anonymizer is an app for macOS. It finds sensitive data in your prompts and files and replaces it with placeholders before it reaches AI apps such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini, then puts the real details back on your computer. Those AI apps are run by other companies under their own terms, and you need your own account with them.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. On the Corporate plan, your admin manages your team’s users and is responsible for them.
Free trial
The free trial lasts 3 days. When it ends, your plan starts and you’re billed automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Plans and payment
Individual: $25 per month. Corporate: $49 per user per month, minimum 2 users. Prices are in USD, plus sales tax where it applies. We bill monthly in advance through Stripe, by Visa, Mastercard or another payment method Stripe supports. Companies receive invoices. If we change our prices, we’ll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it. If you’re a consumer, you keep any rights your state’s law gives you.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Anonymizer to break the law or anyone’s rights, and don’t try to copy, reverse engineer, resell or disrupt it, or get around its security or licensing.
Your data
We don’t store your prompts, files or answers. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Corporate customers get a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
No detection is perfect
Anonymizer finds 70+ kinds of sensitive data, but automatic detection can miss things. Check important content before you share it. You remain responsible for what you send to AI services.
Our software
We own Anonymizer. While your trial or plan is active, you and your team may use it for your own work.
Liability
We provide Anonymizer with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Suspension
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in advance. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before they apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and the ADGM Courts handle disputes. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the state where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
